8. Malaysian Sparrows x 2

There are two wild sparrows who found their way in to our aviary. They go in and out of our aviary and also fly in between the big and small aviary as and when they like through the small gaps. Sometimes you see them, sometimes you don't see them, there is nothing to be alarmed. They usually return during feeding time. They must be enjoying our comfortable environment with abundant food, water and toys.

ASmall Aviary

Total no. of birds: 8

We've left these 8 cheeky Sun Conures on their own in the smaller aviary because their nature is more aggressive, loud, inquisitive, territorial and can be big bullies even to the cockatoos.

Sun Conures x 8

Characteristics: Noisy, cheeky and can be aggressive. Can destroy electrical wires, wooden houses, t-shirts etc. They are  highly inquisitive, likes to nibble on almost anything. Sometimes they escape on peoples backs when they bend, hence be very aware when going in and out of the aviary. They will sometimes attempt to follow you out and they are also good at unlatching the door, so we have to lock it with a padlock when we are cleaning the aviary.

Types of Food they like: Sunflower seeds, nuts, corn, long beans and apples.
